ASSOCIATE EXPANSION AT SiMPACT

Over the last few months, SiMPACT has had the opportunity to welcome three new faces to our team: Laura Dickson, Chief Operating Officer, Jenny Ofrim, SROI & Evaluation Consultant and Rosalie Wood, Executive Assistant & Office Manager.
Laura Dickson
Position: Chief Operating Officer
Hometown: Toronto, ON
With a background in leadership and public administration, Laura joined SiMPACT after assisting with physician workforce planning in the start-up of the new south Calgary hospital.
Having completed her MBA at Royal Roads University in January 2013, Laura is excited to be back in the role of COO – a role she held at the Calgary Homeless Foundation between 2009 and 2011. Originally from Toronto, Laura moved to Calgary with her husband in 2008 and is enjoying life in Western Canada.

Jenny Ofrim
Position: SROI & Evaluation Consultant
Hometown: Camrose, AB
With her Masters in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, Jenny joins the SiMPACT team with a variety of experiences evaluating organizational initiatives both from an internal programming perspective and as an external contractor. Jenny’s previous experience as Program Manager at the Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) and as the Operations Manager at the Association for Alberta Sexual Assault Services (AASAS), have given Jenny the opportunity to share and develop her extensive knowledge about the significance of evaluation in the social services sector.
Jenny completed the SROI Accreditation Training in 2011 and is working towards becoming an Accredited SROI Practitioner through the SROI Network in 2013.
Jenny is excited to be a part of the SiMPACT team for the opportunity to focus on evaluating and measuring the impact of social services.

Rosalie Wood
Position: Executive Assistant & Office Manager
Hometown: Fredricton, NB
Originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Rosalie moved to Calgary in 1990 where she became intrigued by the need for executive assistants and office managers. With her strong attention to detail and organization, Rosalie has always enjoyed being an Executive Assistant. Rosalie’s professional experience includes office administration, database management, website design and maintenance, along with strong skills in editing and formatting.
With previous experience working at the United Way as well as a contract associate, Rosalie enjoys the close team and entrepreneurial mindset SiMPACT offers.
